Meticulous attention to detail. From start to finish, we move through every step of our process with painstaking precision making every piece we produce awe inspiring.

THE VISION
It all starts with brainstorming big ideas. Our customers' fantasies collide with John's killer creativity, the sparks fly, and a dream structure or piece of furniture is ready to come to life. Every build is different but each structure or piece of furniture is a one-of-a-kind labor of love that could only be made by The Farm Mechanic.

THE DESIGN
During the design stage, our mad genius awakens. John illustrates the concept in amazing detail. Each component begins to take shape. When the final design is approved, we start to breathe life into the structure or piece of furniture off the paper -moving from concept to reality.

THE FABRICATION
This is where the dirty work is done and brain cells are bursting. We spend hours selecting each piece of material: lumber, glass, steel, tile, stone – moving to cutting, sanding, leveling, refining staining, painting, fauxing, sealing and everything in between until its perfect. It’s not glamorous, but it's essential.

THE REVEAL
Once we finish a structure or piece of furniture, we try to keep the final look under wraps until our customers can experience it first-hand. When they see their creation by The Farm Mechanic for the first time, they're able to take in the art, the stance, the color, the design, the texture and the excitement all at once. Watching these reactions and seeing the surprise and satisfaction of our customers makes the months of hard work completely worthwhile.
